About ePortfolio California

The aim of this project is to understand what is required to develop an electronic portfolio (ePortfolio) service with a fiscal and technical model that supports a statewide, scalable and sustainable program for California educational institutions. Recommendations will be made through the experiences of a pilot group, a steering committee, and a formal evaluation study conducted in collaboration with Stanford University research faculty. Please contact us for more information about ePortfolio California.

About the Pilot Project
A diverse set of California institutions representing K-12 unified school districts, high school districts, the California Community Colleges, the California State University, and the University of California have been selected to participate in a pilot study. Participants will implement electronic portfolios in one or more courses/programs at their institution. Outcomes and experiences will be evaluated through student and faculty surveys, telephone interviews, and testimonials. A lead faculty member at each site will participate in professional development activities to facilitate future trainings for their campus.  Read more about the Pilot Project and view a list of Pilot Participants.
