About the Exploring ePortfolio Technology Series
Based on feedback from a community survey conducted in spring 2011, EPAC, ePortfolio California, and AAEEBL will host a series of interactive webinars with leading eportfolio developers to see how their solution addresses eportfolio pedagogy. Sessions will include a short overview demonstration of the tool or technology, followed by an interview-style Q&A period where the developer will demonstrate how their tool addresses specific areas of teaching and learning with eportfolios.
Archives of the webinar sessions, product and IT information, and vendor responses to the community survey will form the basis of a comprehensive, interactive online resource that will be shared back with the community, encouraging further discussion and development over time. In addition, a companion series of vendor interviews conducted by Trent Batson, Executive Director of AAEEBL, will appear in Campus Technology magazine in October.
See the Exploring ePortfolio Technologies Webinar Series Resources here.
All sessions are free and will run twice monthly through the fall and, depending on the response, continue through spring 2012. Facilitators include: Helen Chen. Stanford University; Gary Brown, University of Portland; Patricia Donohue, ePortfolio California; Trent Batson, AAEEBL; John Ittelson, PESC Academic ePortfolio Workgroup; and Judy Williamson Batson, AAEEBL.
