Pre-registration is still open for Foliotek | Register for Other Sessions
Based on feedback from a community survey conducted in spring 2011, EPAC, ePortfolio California, and AAEEBL will host a series of interactive webinars with leading eportfolio developers to see how their solution addresses eportfolio pedagogy. Sessions will include a short overview demonstration of the tool or technology, followed by an interview-style Q&A period where the developer will demonstrate how their tool addresses specific areas of teaching and learning with eportfolios. Foliotek… Assessment made simple
Foliotek’s student and program accreditation capabilities are built on the paradigm of electronic portfolios. Faculty and students are more motivated to utilize the Foliotek assessment system because they see benefits to their own professional development. Improvements in participation at the individual level result in improved data collection and reporting results at the program/unit level. Read more about Foliotek.
All sessions are free and will run twice monthly through the fall and, depending on the response, continue through spring 2012. Facilitators include: Helen Chen. Stanford University; Gary Brown, University of Portland; Patricia Donohue, ePortfolio California; Trent Batson, AAEEBL; John Ittelson, PESC Academic ePortfolio Workgroup; and Judy Williamson Batson, AAEEBL. Vendors scheduled for the fall sessions include eFolioWorld, Desire2Learn, FolioTek, Mahara, LiveText and Epsilen. Stay informed.
