The AAEEBL, EPAC, and ePortfolio California communities often hear a variety of questions about eportfolio technologies from educators, such as:

  • What ePortfolio tools are available?
  • What criteria should I use to evaluate among ePortfolio platforms?
  • Does [insert name of ePortfolio vendor] support [insert feature or function such as social networking, assessment management, etc.]?
  • Do you know anyone who is using [insert name of ePortfolio tool] who I could talk to about their experience?

Collaborative Webinar Series
In response, we have designed a unquie opportunity for developers and vendors to respond directly to the needs of the higher education community. Beginning in September 2011, AAEEBL, EPAC, and ePortfolio California will host a bi-weekly webinar series featuring a different eportfolio technology or tool each session. Developers will be asked to follow a standard format addressing specific questions related to teaching and learning, derived directly from a collective community member survey conducted thsi past spring.
